This document is a summary of an interrogation conducted on the noted date. The main substance here is Pancke's representation that he, Best, Bovensiepen, and General Hanneken were in favor of and recommended to Hitler, and to certain assembled members of the Nazi High Command, relatively moderate and strictly legal means to answer the problems of sabotage and general resistance in Denmark. Hitler, however, rejected these recommends and ordered the use of summary execution and retaliatory murder. This document is a typewritten original of excellent quality on standard weight, slightly browning paper.
