63.01 (Jürgen Stroop)
Jürgen Stroop; Charles Fay; General Eisenhower; Albert Kesselring
This document is a copy of news item concerning SS Lieutenant General Jürgen Stroop and his liquidation of the Warsaw Ghetto. Stroop also permitted German civilians to kill downed American fliers without risk of punishment. The second half of the report briefly summarizes the extradition process whereby "other countries can lay claim to war criminals now in American hands." It is noteworthy that Italy is free to participate in this arrangement. The quality of the print and paper is good.
