Seyss-Inquart; von Papen; Major Loehr
July 1937; 11 March 1938
This interrogation report is wholly concerned with Germany's annexation of Austria and Goering's role in that event. Goering denies having paid for military information from Major Loehr of the Austrian Air Force and admits to having anticipated the Anschluss in July 1937 by telling Austrian representatives that the Anschluss would soon occur because Austria was properly a part of Germany. Goering also admits to having had a very active part in the Anschluss itself. This document is a typewritten copy of good quality on brown, brittle paper.
