This document is Waibel's reply to Christians's letter of August 10th (see preceding document. Waibel tends to defend Mr. Flinsch from the accusations expressed in the previous letter, along the lines both of character and of particular actions in support of the German war effort. Still, Waibel states that he will present Chrisians's complaint to Mr. Flinsch at the first opportunity. The relevant content is noted in the preceding document 53.018 (Hollander memo): "Connection between the Nazi Party and the Latin American Firms of I.G." in point 4. The present document is a Photostat copy of very good quality on very sturdy paper in good condition.
