57.04 (Jackson memo, 21 September)
Robert G. Storey; Mr. Albrecht
This memo expresses Robert H. Jackson's approval of and appreciation for the trial runs (preliminary trial briefs), which the Projects Branch has been producing as a way of conveying "the documentary evidence ... to the committees." Jackson regards these trial runs as essential to the processes of marshalling and assimilating the enormous amounts of documentary evidence, and wants to see this work continue. This document is a typewritten carbon copy on thin but good paper.
