'The Case Against the Nazi Secret Police, Security and Intelligence System and Ernst Kaltenbrunner'
10 August 1939; 1 September 1939
This document is a brief narrative summary, evidently based on information provided by the witness, of the genesis and perpetration of staged "frontier incidents" that gave Hitler a pretext to launch his long-desired invasion of Poland. These and other so-called "border incidents" are the subjects of two interrogations of Naujocks, which are summarized in document 11.09, Volume VI, of the Donovan Archive. The present document is a typewritten carbon copy of poor quality on stable paper.
