61.04 (Kelley memo to Donovan, 27 November 1945)
Hitler; Doenitz; Schirach; Goering; General Donovan
This memo reflects the general opinion among the defendants that "At the end of yesterday's session [they] had developed a very obvious feeling that the trial was being conducted most fairly." However, the defendants criticized the American prosecution for "trying to run a crooked course in not reading a part of one document and in introducing obvious forgery." The author reiterates the defendants' apparent solidarity. The present document is a typewritten original of excellent quality on sturdy, slightly browning paper in good condition.
